Vintage 1950s Classic Envelope Handbag made by Essell of England from navy leather, on a burnished gilt frame, with a stylish fold over closure with clasp. Ultra slim and compact, it may be used for both fashion and as a document bag.
It appears to be unused, without internal odour or stains. The base is without damage
Internally it has been lined in a navy suede and leather with compartments for powder, lipstick and pen etc.
This gorgeous bag would be the perfect vintage accessory for a truly authentic vintage look, or an indulgent treat for an avid bag collector.
