Vintage ‘one off’ 1950s Dress and coat which has been hand made in a London couture house and was part of a fashion collection and has remained in its original 1950s unworn condition.
This is such a rare and unique set, no one will have another like it. It’s perfect for a retro vintage wedding or themed weekend and garden party. The dress is designed to compliment the wearer, fitted into the waist it has a georgette belt to fasten around the waist. The coat has a wonderful drape and hangs just so, showing off the generous cut to obtain that certain ‘swing’ as the wearer moves. The garments are a size 10 and no more. There isn’t any give to the material, unfortunately so please do compare the measurements given.
The raw silk is stunningly vivid and compliments the georgette coat, which has the same vivid floral design.
The measurements given are actual, from seam to seam taken when the garment was laid flat, and are given as a guide. Please compare these measurements against a similar garment of your own.
