Vintage 1950s Dress & Bolero Striking Vivid Unique 50s Rockabilly Bombshell
Original Vintage 1950s Dress with matching bolero jacket which has been created from the most gorgeous crisp cotton in Baby blue with white polka dots and a ruffle design in white and navy blue.
It’s an absolute treat and completely unworn - exceptionally wearable today. It’s gorgeous, the fabric has a fabulous nostalgic rustle as the lady moves. The bolero is styled with a winged collar
Lovely styling to the neck, of the dress which leads gently into a fitted bodice with a belted waist over an exceptionally full and generous skirt, with stylised pockets at the hip.
Overall it’s fresh and clean looking.
It was created in 1955 and placed immediately into a Private Collection belonging to a vogue fashion designer. Its exquisitely designed, with the utmost style to compliment the wearer. The garments have been freshly dry cleaned and are now ready to wear.
I am listing this as an advised uk 10 although the notes connected to the dress state that it is a size 16 The measurements given were taken when the garment was laid flat and relaxed.
