Stunning Jean Allen Unworn Vintage 1950s Silk Georgette Wiggle Dress edged at the hems and edges with bronze satin, which has a split front gathered over skirt.
The bodice is exquisitely trimmed with the same satin and has an overlay of pleated georgette
The dress has been table cut and hand finished to an excellent standard. Hand stitched pleats adorns the bodice, this theme is carried through to the waist of the over skirt.
In all, this is a fabulous gown and is in the most delicious unworn condition which is highly wearable today. Perfect for cocktails, the races, vintage garden parties or retro vintage wedding or weekend gathering.
The gown is a vintage size 14 therefore I have given measurements taken when the creation was laid flat. These are given as a guide for comparison against a similar garment of ones own.
