Vintage 1980s Bright & Vivid nautical themed dress by Austin Reed, in a navy silk with abstract flags.
Faux pockets to the chest of the bodice and with a faux button down front.
The shoulders are gently padded and are quite dainty. The collar is a shawl design. The waist is slightly dropped and there are two inverted pleats, either side of the hips, off centre, which makes the dress fall just so. A kickpleat of 6.5” completes the look.
Overall this is a very distinctive classy and beautiful dress, Which has been generously cut to suit a size 18.
The measurements given have been taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat and relaxed. Please compare the sizes given for an exact fit.
