Stunning Art Deco Black silk and Lace Tea Gown by Marshall & Snelgrove of London
Cocktail Sheath Dress or Slip, although these garments were also worn as a summer boudoir robe or petticoat under an evening gown.
Exquisitely hand sewn it has a french hand made lace Appliqué to the front upper bodice.
It’s in the most fabulous pristine unworn condition, and is free of any signs if it’s age.
The seams are all firm, although we have done a repair to a loose seam, the lace is exquisite and without damage as is the dainty silk/satin shoulder straps.
The measurements given have been taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat and relaxed.
