Stunning 1950s Silk Wiggle Dress and matching peplum Jacket in a silk sunflower print
The dress is table cut and has been hand finished to an excellent standard. Both the dress and jacket are lined in rayon silk.
The jacket has also been hand finished, with big button detailing to the front back belt and sides.
It is an absolutely divine dress suit, perfect for any wedding, garden party or Goodwood.
In all, this is a fabulous set and is unique in design and probably custom made.
It has remained unworn, and in the most delicious condition and highly wearable today. The dresses style is so very cosmopolitan with a scoop neck and with delicate darting to compliment the wearer.
The set has a size labels of a vintage 44 so I have given measurements taken when the creation was laid flat. These are given as a guide for comparison against a similar garment of ones own.
