Stunning Frank Usher 1980s Ball Gown Red Carpet Cocktail Dress created from Black and White Georgette Silk and Chantilly Lace. The bodice is quite fitted and covers the hips smoothly, from where the skirt of the gown kicks out in generous flounced panels of alternating black and white georgette. Underneath are two layers of fine black and white net to give shape and definition.
There is an under dress which is cut quite fitted-wiggle style
At the neckline are six layers of black and white silk georgette ruffles, styled in the traditional look of the flamenco dresses worn by Spanish dancers.
The gown has been hand finished and has remained stored after being worn once in 1986
