Vintage late 1950s (1959) Sheath Dress Made by Plutina
Unworn with original checkers labels
The fabric is iridescent and has a very subtle shimmer.
It appears to have a little of the continental about the style-it’s made in Germany
It’s unique and very beautifully made, with dainty shoulder pads. The dress has a belt, which is backed with bronze leatherette.
At the neck is a collar of French jet droplets, overall it is highly exquisitely classical and extremely chic
The cocktail dress was part of a consignment of retired stock from a North Yorkshire boutique
The fabric is in the most stunning condition and it’s been created to resemble raw silk, made from virgin wool and Trevira
It’s simply stunning and perfect for any vintage themed venue, and wonderful for retro weddings.
