Genuine Vintage 1980s Caroline Charles Cocktail Peplum Jacket, in a pure cotton velvet in a deep shade of claret and piped with black silk.
Classically fitted into the waist, it has beautiful tailored with gathered detail to the square shoulders and log-o-mutton sleeves.
To the back there are darts to give a structure to the shape in black silk piping.
The fabric is a very fine 100% cotton velvet.
This wonderful unworn jacket was part of a consignment of retired stock from a North Yorkshire boutique and has a tag stating that it’s a sample. I have thoroughly checked the garment and it’s in original condition
The jacket has been shown in natural light for clarity and is completely untouched digitally.
As the garment is vintage I have taken the measurements when the garment was laid flat, please compare against a similar garment for the correct fit
