Stunning 1950s Cocktail Jacket. Completely hand sewn from exquisite Rich Mahogany American Ranch Mink (female) Rare and in near original condition without any signs of wear, and part of a celebrity’s private fashion collection.
Purchased in 1954 from Dyson’s Furriers of Leeds. The styling is absolutely knockout, with a swing back, large shawl collar and divine bracelet or bell sleeves, which are perfect for a lady wearing the fashionable charm bracelets from this period. Equally elegant for the longer length leather evening. The garment is super supple and so very soft, its as light as a feather, extremely tactile and bang on trend, even the lining has been hand stitched and is without stain or odour as the jacket has been professionally cleaned.
