Wonderful 1950s Cresta Designer Cocktail Dress created from the most sumptuous Aqua Green raw silk, with Chantilly lace overlay to the bodice.
The gown has bones sewn into the silk lining to give shape and support to the wearer.
It was purchased in approx 1956 and placed into a Private Collection. Its exquisitely designed, with the utmost style to compliment the wearer.
Cresta was well known in the 1950s for making couture gowns equaled to Hardy Amies.
It's lined in silk, which is fashioned to give additional support to the lady's bodice and has a half Petticoat of net.
