Vintage 1980s Cocktail Evening Gown with darted detailing to the bodice, an overlay of vivid psychedelic sequinned disks adorn the bodice below the scoop neckline and ornate sleeves. The skirt is circular in design with a broad panel to the front, and gathering along the dropped waist.
Exquisitely cut, the dress has a dropped waist which falls nicely over the hips, to give a Luxurious Fluidity to the fabric as the lady moves. The skirt of the dress is simply glorious, with a huge amount of fabric to give an exquisite swing. The underskirt is rayon silk and lace and the whole dress is backed with an ultra fine net.
It was previously part of a fashion designers Private collection, and was the proof garment for a Vogue pattern. The seams are mostly hand sewn and finished,
