Vintage 1920s Slip Dress Nightdress Hand Made Peach and Coffee Appliqué Lace Unworn Marked
Art Deco 1920s Pure Silk Hand Finished Slip or nightdress with dainty coffee silk Appliqué embroidery above neckline. The straps are dainty with their original slip buckle and are exquisitely made, with all seams etc being hand finished. Please note the fabric does have some age marks. These are much like tea stains, although the fabric is very firm.
These gorgeous sensual garments look fabulous when worn as a sun dress with a dinky bolero cardigan-stunningly unique.
This is part of stock located in a store room, part of the CWS (Co-op) group. Made at their Manchester factory. The garment is in ‘as found’ condition, with age spots and foxing. There are no holes, rips or shattering to the fabric.
This is a beautiful example of 1920s underwear, the cut is bias, giving a beautiful flip to the hem. There is elastic panels stitched into the lace at the underarms for comfort.
Please be aware that should you be slightly more than the measurements given across the garment, then its probable that some length will be lost. All measurements were taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat and have been provided as a guidance for you to compare against an item of ones own.
