Gorgeous Vintage 1930s Art Deco Cocktail Capelet, shoulder cape with defined styling to the Fox fur pelts which have a burgundy tint.
The hem has wide scallop detailing, it’s absolutely stunning and so very beautiful, soft and luxurious. The cape benefits from internal satin arm loops

The fur is panelled onto supper fine suede to give a more structured look to the lay of the fur, which has been carefully used to fashion this luxurious item. It has dainty square shoulders, as it’s been designed to hug the lady’s shoulders. This helps to keep the wearers arms snug and warm and prevents the capelet from flapping open. There are fine openings to the front for the ladies hands, these are partly hidden within the fur..
The lining is silk which does show slight signs of wear
It's been worn carefully and stored extreamly well, as it's owner was a fashion designer from 1940s right up to 1985 and kept the fur as part of a private collection. The fur is without shedding
