Absolutely Knockout Vintage 1953 Flame Scarlet Silk Dress Overlaid with Hand Made Alencon lace, which has the most divine scarlet, black and fine gold thread detailing.
The creation is all hand stitched and finished.
Fabulous and in the most pristine condition it's the most wonderful Cocktail Wiggle Dress I have seen this season.
Matching the dress is a hand made silk lined Clutch Bag with Diamanté detail to the clasp. The frame is tooled gilt-this is without tarnish.

The cocktail gown was in a private collection from 1960-2016.
The shoulder straps are 7cm wide.
The neckline is fabulously styled to give a square neck, the back is slightly curved to compliment the wearers shoulders.
The kick pleat at the back, is inverted and is 14”
The dress and bag were made in Paris in 1953, and was worn for a wedding and a christening then stored in a linen closet.
It has had a full professional dry cleaning and is ready to wear.
