Absolutely gorgeous 1950s Peignoir Negligee, Boudoir Gown, or Hostess Gown created from a decadent gossamer blue chiffon trimmed with silver edged ruffles.

The neckline is sweetheart shaped, the bodice is absolutely divine with the front having a centre chevron.
The skirt of the gown is not quite a circle but remains voluminous and very flowing. The gown has hidden elastic supports at the underarm giving added security to the wearer. It’s been freshly dry cleaned and is ready to wear. These garments are so beautiful and compliment the wearer so well, allowing a glimpse of stylish underwear through the gossamer fabric as the lady moves.
The cut and style is very very generous, there is copious amounts of this stunning fabric, it's absolutely wonderful and is in near original condition although there are small areas of thinning to the lower skirt.
The measurements given have been taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat and relaxed. Please compare the sizes given for an exact fit.
