Antique 1800s Homespun Yorkshire Linen Bedspread or Throw.
The Bed Linen is dated from around 1890 and is from a North Yorkshire Country Estate Fabulous homespun Yorkshire Linen has been used to make this wonderful and truly beautiful item of antique Bed linen. Exstensive drawn work covers this item, from the edges to the centre panel.
The borders have been finished by hand with ladder work, these are in quite good condition
I can confirm that the linen is without age marks or thinning, but there are some repairs and faint storage marks-please see photos.
This throw is in a used condition and is slightly creamy in colour, this will brighten as the linen is laundered. It is heavy, tactile and simply magnificent, the perfect finishing touch to any antique themed homestyle boudoir or
chic B & B.

The linen was laid away in storage in 1920 with an inventory date of July 1898 as the date when it was originally given as a gift. The linen is homespun, and the weave can been slightly seen in places.
The fabric has been shown in natural light for clarity and is completely untouched digitally.
