Absolutely gorgeous 1930s Silk Hand Made House Coat, Boudoir Robe, or Hostess Gown with later appliqué to the sleeves.

The neckline has a broad collar, the sleeves are elaborately designed with slim turn backs. The shoulders are square with darting. The bodice is absolutely divine with the front being darted and slightly fitted and the back being blouson.
The fabric is stunningly beautiful with an iridescent animal print within the weave. It should be noted that the fabric has some damage and this has been disguised with the appliqué to the sleeves.
The skirt of the gown slips daintily over the hips, then is cut generously, on the bias, voluptuous and very flowing, a 2” deep tie belt draws it all together.

The cut and style is very very generous, there is copious amounts of this stunning fabric, it's absolutely wonderful and is in gorgeous condition
