Stunning 1980s Pure Raw Silk and Chantilly Lace Wiggle Dress, Jacket, belt and Evening stole. Created and mandmade by Dozia of Athens
The Wiggle Dress is slightly fitted, with an overskirt of hand made silk Chantilly lace. The bodice is plain and there is a broad sash belt with lace trim. The Chantilly lace jacket is very full and has a detailed front, padded shoulders and long sleeves.
The garment is in its original 1980s condition.
The couture house is Dozia, which are still based in Athens Greece.
The whole of the creation is hand finished, with the seams having hand stitched weighted placings to keep the dress in place.
The bodice has a corset, in white linen. This is also boned for added support for the lady.
The fabric is in the most stunning condition, and the dress has been cut to compliment beautifully, a curvy figure. It is so absolutely gorgeous.
It’s simply stunning and perfect for any vintage themed venue, wonderful for any retro wedding, cruise, garden party and also Goodwood. The measurements given are actual, from seam to seam taken when the garment was laid flat, and are given as a guide. Please compare these measurements against a similar garment of your own.
