Vintage 1930s Straw Picture Hat High Crown Huge Brim 30s Hollywood
Divine and absolutely stunning Genuine vintage 1930s American Millinery at its most extravagant Hand made with such skill, it has remained stored in a linen cupboard since around the end of 1940
Given to me by a relative who lived and worked in California.
The internal circumference is 21”
The brim is 6”
The crown is high-approx 5"
This style of hat was pinned into place, worn with the brim turned up on one side or back or worn with the brim down, this one still retains its draw strung fastening and original pom-poms, although one is missing
The quality of the millinery is stunning, yet so very very simple, it's fabulous to say its nearly 109 years old!
