Wonderful 1980s Frank Usher Vivid scarlet Cocktail Dress created from the most sumptuous fabric.
Professionally dry cleaned and ready to wear.
The back is shaped seductively following the outline of the wearers back. The sleeves are raglan shaped with rounded padded shoulders
It’s so completely glamorous and totally full of 1980s Glam!
It was purchased in approximately 1984 and following two seasons, was placed into a Private Collection. Its exquisitely designed, with the utmost style to compliment the wearer and has been mostly hand sewn.
The dress is lined in rayon silk, which is slightly fitted whilst the overdress is wonderfully floaty and exquisitely feminine.
There are bones to the bodice to give definition and shape.
The design of the skirt of the dress is very very full, with four layers of flouncy polyester silk. The bodice has a dainty gathering to the front and back centre. The rear hem of the gown is slightly lower to give a ‘kick out’ as the wearer moves.
The measurements given were taken when the garment was laid flat and relaxed.
