Vintage Art Deco 1930s Dress. This is a stunningly unique style, which has been hand made and finished.
The fabric is a very fine wool jersey
Kept in a private collection, since 1941 it’s been stored with the utmost care.
The creation has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear.
The sleeves are very close fitting above the wrist, the hip pockets are stylish and yet practical.
The shoulders are raglan, the neckline is stylish trimmed with original buttons, it lays in a deep V to the back, whilst the front is slashed.
It has stunning darts across the upper bodice, the same with the skirt to give optimum emphasis to the ladies curves.
Exquisitely cut, the dress falls nicely over the hips, to give a Luxurious Fluidity to the fabric as the lady moves.
It was previously part of a French fashion designers private collection, and was the proof garment for a chanel pattern.
The seams are mostly hand sewn and finished.
All measurements were taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat and have been provided as a guidance for you to compare against an item of ones own.
