Stunning Carnegie 1950s Cocktail Dress created from Champagne Silk grosgrain
The bodice is reinforced with a slight stiffening to the lining and has been embellished with stunning floral embroidery in gold.
I have given measurements taken when the dress was laid flat. These are given as a guide.

The bodice of the dress fits into the waist then flows over the hips to give a stunning structured skirt made up of eight panels, which is over a full circle.
The neck is scooped, with the shoulders being a little capped.
Overall, the dress is in enviable exquisite condition, although it does have a few storage marks-kindly see photos.
This is the most gorgeous dress, once the property of a 1950/1960s soul singer.
