This is a beautiful little compact. It’s part of my own compact collection, which I’m breaking up.
The Powder compact is a gold tone, with a true mirror.
The compact is made by Vogue Vanities the design is Persian legends which is without damage or loss of the gold filigree
Commonly known as Arabian Nights.
This is a beautiful powder compact. It measures 8.5 cm in diameter, and the inner compartment has the original powder sifter and there's slight traces of loose powder. The powder puff was originally swans down, this has long gone but the pad still remains
It was given to me in 1981 I haven’t used it at all as it’s been stored in my collection
Stunning condition and once belonging to a celebrity of the 1940s.
