1920s Piano, Bustle Shawl or Wrap in a iridescent rose gold Indian Silk, with deep hand knotted macgrame edging and long luxurious tassles.
Originally from northern Spain
The corners are almost square and have been expertly finished on all edges.
The fabric is from India although the shawl was made in Spain.
Measurements are as follows;
Overall measurements; 84” x 84"
The silk fringe and macrame is; 20"
The shawl is in the most stunning condition, as most Indian silk garments succumbed to shattering due to the heat, this one was brought back as a present. There are no loose threads to the fringing, but it should be noted that there is slight foxing and some watermarks to the fabric (age marks) please look at the photos
