Vintage 1949 Dress with faux cross over bodice detail to the V neckline and with exquisite sleeves and a contrasting belt.
The skirt of the dress has gathered panels to give a Flippy kick out hem as the wearer walks, or a net underskirt can be worn to give a ‘puffball’ shape
The garment has been finished to an excellent standard although there are storage marks but no holes or thinning.
The velvet flock overlay is stunning.
This beautiful dress is part of a consignment of boutique stock and probably a return
It is in the most delicious condition and highly wearable today.
As the garment is from the 1940s I have given the measurements taken seam to seam then doubled.
