Gorgeous Vintage 1930s Art Deco Cocktail Capelet, shoulder cape with defined styling to the silver Fox fur pelts to give chevron detailing to the side front and the back, which is so stunningly beautiful
Made by Faulkes Furs of Birmingham Professionally cleaned and ready to wear.
It has been cut to give the illusion of dainty square shoulders, as it’s been styled to hug the lady’s shoulders.
This helps to keep the wearers arms snug and warm and prevents the capelet from flapping open.
To the back, the designer have styled the cape to give an Angel Wings affect-please see photos
The lining is silk satin which is without any marks.
It's been worn carefully and stored extreamly well, as it's owner was a fashion designer from 1940s right up to 1985 and kept the fur as part of a private collection. The fur is without shedding, the skin is soft and fluid. The fur has been professionally dry cleaned and is ready to wear
