Vintage 1800s Nottinghamshire Bobbin lace, Linen Cloth, used as a topper or tray cloth.
The cloth measures
16”x 24”
Completely all hand made, from the home spun linen to the bobbin lace. The embroidery work is slightly raised and in original condition.
This gorgeous linen has been stored since the mid 1800s. Fully laundered (November 21) by hand, it is glazed and ready to use.
The fabric is absolutely in wonderful pristine condition, as are the dainty mitred corners.
The hand stitching is pristine and without any damage.
The bobbin lace is scalloped and slightly flounced.
This is a wonderful and genuine hand made cloth, which will pleasantly compliment the antique or rustic themed boutique home, perfect to dress any tea time table, and give a unique look to the breakfast room of a retro B&B or a sideboard
