Vintage 1980s Couture Silk Velvet Devore Gown and wrap by Dozia of Athens.
Stunning and uniquely designed by this fabulous Greek Couture House, it’s an absolute beauty of a dress.
The dress has a Black velvet bodice with a high waisted Silk Devore skirt, which is iridescent, full and very luxurious. The wrap is black silk chiffon with exquisite Devore panels hand sewn into place around its edges.
The creation is mostly hand finished, including the hem of the dress and the darting to the bodice.
This is a beautiful garment, perfect for the cocktail hour, and those special festivals or retro music nights. The measurements given are actual, from seem to seem and are given as a guide. Please compare these measurements against a similar garment of your own.
