Stunning Vintage 1940s Silk & Satin Georgette Dress edged at the hems and edges with black satin, which has piping to the waist with black satin bow and sash. The skirt has a 1/3 panel of black satin to the skirt.
The bodice is exquisitely trimmed with the same satin and has an overlay of georgette
The dress has been table cut and hand finished to an excellent standard.
Hand stitched pleats adorns the skirt.
In all, this is a fabulous gown and is in the most delicious condition, but requires a little TLC and which is highly wearable today. Attention is required to the arm seam and also to the back of the dress on the right side. Please see photos
