Stunning 1950s Bright Vivid Harlequin Kitty Copeland Original Unworn Wiggle Dress and Bolero Cocktail Jacket created from a fabulous harlequin silk grosgrain.
It’s an absolute delight.
The garment was part of a fashion collection and has remained in its gently worn original 1950s condition since it was placed in storage in 1952
The fabric is in the most stunning condition, and the dress has been cut to compliment beautifully, a curvy figure. It is so absolutely gorgeous.
The dress has slip pockets, at the hip and is fastened from top to bottom with 11 faceted black buttons. A winged tipped collar adds a stylish touch to the neckline. The bodice is fitted, with medium strength bones to give added support, should the lady not wish to wear undergarments.
The dress looks absolutely wonderful on its own, but stunningly beautiful when the wearer adds the delicately cut bolero.
It’s simply stunning and perfect for any vintage themed venue, wonderful for retro weddings, parties and festivities.
