Stunning Carnegie 1950s Cocktail Dress created from Black Silk grosgrain
The bodice is boned
(5 bones in total) with a slight stiffening to the lining.
I have given measurements taken when the dress was laid flat. These are given as a guide.

The bodice of the dress fits into the waist then flows over the hips to give a stunning full circle skirt made up of eight panels.
The neck is cut sweetheart style, and the sleeves are half length and gathered down the sides
The shoulders are styled to be worn cold, Bardot or dropped. It came with a pure silk blue net cummerbund which will be included in the sale.
This is the most gorgeous dress, once the property of a 1950/1960s soul singer.
