Stunning and pristine, soft luxurious silk velvet in a mix of iridescent gold, bronze
This is quite a unique item, from a country house private collection, and originates from London
It’s in a ruched design and has been gathered into tight folds, this has been done by hand making the item quite stretchy
There was a note in its box, which stated that it was purchased in 1969
The scarf is very avant- garde and bohemian in style, and the fabric is in excellent condition without age marks or shattering.
The velvet pile is pristine and I would say from its condition etc that it’s been stored since it’s initial purchase
This would make a beautiful accessory for any occasion, and just about perfect for a vintage themed wedding.
