Stunning Vintage 1940s Black Sable (Mink) Duster Coat
The shoulders are generously cut and padded. The sleeves are balloon styled with dainty cuffs.
The coat is loosely cut with an impeccable style, the back is very impressive, the fur falls in Exquisite folds.
Luxurious soft mahogany sable mink has been used to fashion this garment, stitched to the chevron style - please see photos.
The lining is chocolate silk with the lady’s initials embroidered in gold metal thread to the inner Dolly pocket
The fur is firm and without moult. The coat was originally made in 1931, and remodel in 1939/1940
The measurements given were taken when the garment was laid flat, and considerations should be given to the design, which is fluid. The sleeves are styled to accommodate a charm bracelet, as was the fashion of the 1940s
