Vintage 1950s Pink Silk Brocade Day Dress with darted detailing to the bodice, which has 4 buttons, a Peter Pan neckline, long sleeves, and an eight panelled circle skirt.
The dress closes at the left side with press studs.
The skirt is generous in design with a broad flat panel to the front which runs down from the bodice.
Exquisitely cut, the dress falls nicely over the hips, to give a Luxurious Fluidity to the fabric as the lady moves.
The skirt of the dress is simply glorious, with a huge amount of fabric to give an exquisite swing.
The seams are mostly hand sewn and finished.
All measurements were taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat and have been provided as a guidance for you to compare against an item of your own.
