Vintage 1950s stiffened cotton
Tea Dress with darted detailing to the bodice, scoop neckline, with a faux button down front with deep ruffle to the hem of the circle skirt.
Vivid unique and very 1950s
The skirt is circular in design with broad pleats to the front and back, and gathering along the waist band -the belt isn’t included
Exquisitely cut, the dress has a fitted waist which falls nicely over the hips, to give a Luxurious Fluidity to the fabric as the lady moves.
The skirt of the dress is simply glorious, with a huge amount of fabric to give an exquisite swing.
I haven’t used a net skirt, the fullness is due to the fabric
This is a well loved garment and there are some home repairs to the seam on the waistband.
All measurements were taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat and have been provided as a guidance for you to compare against an item of ones own.
