Victorian 1900s Hand Sewn Very early Champagne Rayon Silk Petticoat or Underskirt.
It’s quite rare to find a garment from this age made from the earliest rayon.
All measurements were taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat and have been provided as a guidance for you to compare against an item of ones own.

Length; 36”
The skirt slips on with a press stud and one button to fasten at the left side. The original elastic is still present.
There is no thinning nor repairs, although there is two 5mm age marks please see photos
The fabric has been shown in natural light for clarity and is completely untouched digitally. It has received a full laundering, and is ready to wear.
