Genuine Unworn Vintage 1940s cheongsam Chinese cocktail jacket with hand quilting to the embroidered black silk, whilst the reverse is a vivacious champagne silk. It’s so very sensual and unique
Its reversible with turn back detailing to the bracelet sleeves and generous duster style back, with pockets both sides
This is a most gorgeous jacket, perfect to team with a cocktail dress, pencil skirt or pedal pushers, something to place around the shoulders when the nights are a little cool, when a coat will not do.
The fabric is 100% silk originating from China the quilting is lambs wool.
The fabric must have cost an absolute fortune in the early 1940s, when the jacket was originally made
The garment is unsized, so I have taken the measurements when the garment was laid flat, please compare against a similar garment for the correct fit
