Fabulous vintage 1950s Dress created by Victor Evelyn from a vibrant and distinctive Red and Purple silk brocade.
The bodice is fitted into the waist and there are 6 bones internally to provide support
From the waist the delicate dirndl skirt, which has a slight stiffening, falls away in luxurious folds.
Under this there are three under petticoats, one of which has hoops to support the fabric and give a beautiful shape.
This is a beautiful garment, perfect to team with a little bolero or capelet, or perhaps a stole or wrap, wonderful for the cocktail hour, and those special parties, weddings and race meetings or retro music nights. The garment is in stunning condition.
The dress has been dry cleaned.
