Stunning Vintage 1930s Hand Made Nottinghamshire Linen Knotted lace Bed Throw.
The throw is extremely rustic and of the rural cultural crafts of the Nottingham lace quarter. This is a stunning item, completely genuine and created from a warm light coffee linen thread edged with a slim white linen rope.
This will lighten as the item is laundered.

Length 80”
The throw is extremely tactile, and all of the pattern is raised.
Coming from a museum, the fabric is in the most fabulous condition without age marks, pulls or runs.
Originally made in Nottingham, it was it was brought as a gift and stored in a linen room since about 1932.
The throw would make a marvellous tablecloth too, laid over a darker fabric.
