The history;
“Real PANNOFIX from Hungary?
What is PANNOFIX?
PANNOFIX is actually a secret process of PANNONIA factory, to enhance the fur side of sheepskin hides to look like beaver skin, otherwise known as PANNOFIX beaver lamb (Biberlamm, mouton doré), which quickly became a very famous product. Unfortunately the PANNONIA factory fell victim to the change of regime in Hungary in the nineties. Since than, PANNOFIX is produced only in some small workshops”
The shoulders are generously cut and padded. The sleeves are turned back and bracelet style, the collar has been modelled on a huge shawl, design which snuggles the neck and lower head.
The coat is loosely cut with an impeccable style, the back is very impressive, there’s a nice swing to it.
Purchased in 1954 It has been worn but the fur is firm and there isn’t any damage at all, and no signs of flattening.
Dry cleaned and ready to wear. Please note that the lining is a satin sheen cotton, and this does have some signs of wear, but no repairs or rips
The measurements given were taken when the garment was laid flat, and fastened and considerations should be given to the design, which is fluid. The sleeves are bracelet styled to accommodate a charm bracelet, as was the fashion of the 1950s
