Vintage 1980s Rena Lange 100% pure silk wrap dress, unworn, and is part of a consignment of couture garments from a retired boutique in North Yorkshire.
The date on the stock sheet is January 1985
The dress is designed to compliment the wearer, gently gathered at the back with an elaborate collared neckline and padded shoulders.
The creation has a wonderful shape, with dainty sleeves with turn backs and two broad silk belts which wraps around the waist, gathering the dress together.
The dress also zips into place, under the wrap over to ensure a secure fit, with added silk covered press studs to completely secure the front. The seams are hand finished.
The dress hangs just so, showing off the generous cut to obtain that certain chic look as the wearer moves.
The measurements given are actual, from seam to seam taken when the garment was laid flat, and are given as a guide. Please compare these measurements against a similar garment of your own.
