Vintage 1950s Wiggle Dress. Unworn with original checkers labels
The fabric is iridescent silk brocade and has a very subtle shimmer to the rose bud design.
It appears to have a little of the continental about the style, probably Italian
It’s unique and very beautifully made, with dainty shoulders. The dress has a ruffle to the midriff with the same detailing to the neckline.
At the back there is an inverted 5” kick pleat.
The neckline is classical, overall it is highly exquisite and extremely chic
The cocktail dress was part of a consignment of retired stock from a North Yorkshire boutique
The fabric is in the most stunning condition.
It’s simply stunning and perfect for any vintage themed venue, and wonderful for retro weddings.
Wear with a 50s jacket or wrap for a nostalgic fashion statement or maybe a 3/4 duster coat
